As part of a regular policies and procedures review, we have recently updated our leverage
policy. The updated policy can be reviewed on your personal website by going to the “Dealer
Resources Section”. The policy has been updated in the following section (s):

  • Section 2.2; Financial Advisor Due Diligence;
  • Section 2.2.1; Completing a NAAF; A. Investment Knowledge; C. Gross Annual Income;
  • D. Time Horizon; F. Investment Objectives; G. Risk Tolerance

In conjunction with the updated policy we have also updated the “Leverage Approval Form
(GPLAF_(2011.10)” to assist a Financial Advisor when opening a leverage plan and to provide
guidance in relation to the updated policy. The new form is also available in the forms section
of your personal web site.

The Leverage Approval Form has been updated in the following section(s):

  • Section 3; Investment Loan Information
  • Section 4; Cash Flow Information
  • Leverage Approval Form User Guide Section

Please take note that the new Leverage Approval Form must be used when opening a
Leverage Plan effective immediately. Please discard any older version of the Leverage
Approval Form as they will no longer be accepted as an approved form.
