As you know, with the Client-Focused Reforms (CFRs) coming into effect on January 1, 2022, we have updated several prescribed forms to incorporate the new requirements.

These updated forms take effect immediately and the previous version of the forms will no longer be accepted after January 28th, 2022.

Highlights

Having received feedback from advisors, we have updated several of our prescribed forms with changes to make it easier to use and more intuitive. You can access all the forms by logging into your secured site and going to “W.investment” or “Advisor Document Centre”.

Client Information Document (GPCID 2021.12)

  • Added "A Trusted Contact Person (TCP) to your Account"

  • Added "Information on Electronic Deposit Options"

  • Added “Documenting your KYC using the Investor Profile Questionnaire (IPQ)

  • Updated ”How your Financial Advisor selects products that are right for you"

  • Updated "Charges and Compensation paid to GP Wealth Management and your Financial Advisor"

New Account Application Form (GPNAAF 2021.12)

  • Sections 1 Account Holder Information/Section 2 Co-Account Holder Information; Question on Politically Exposed Person has been updated to reflect the changes in regulation

  • Sections 1 Account Holder Information/ Section 2 Co-Account Holder Information; Moved Banking Information to Section 8

  • Sections 1 Account Holder Information/Section 2 Co-Account Holder Information; Add Question on Trusted Contact Person

  • Section 8; Removed all references to DSC and LL purchase options

  • Operation of Account Agreement; Updated definition of PEP and HIO to reflect changes in regulation

Know Your Client Form (GPKYC 2021.12)

  • Sections 1 Account Holder Information/Section 2 Co-Account Holder Information;

  • Added "A Trusted Contact Person (TCP) to your Account"

  • Section 3; moved “Notes” to Section 4

Financial Account Changes Form (GPFACF 2021.12)

  • Section 2; Removed all references to DSC and LL purchase options

Reminder:

Please discard old forms and replace them with the new forms immediately as we will no longer accept and approve the previous version of a form received after January 28, 2021.
